A Note From Leo

Hi, I’m Leo Calligaro.

What we do here at Our Ancestors' Foods is deeply personal to me. I care about raising food the right way because I know how much the food we eat matters. That is why I am so passionate about offering beef that is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, raised with care, and produced without shortcuts.

Buying bulk beef is not just about filling your freezer. It is about feeding your family well, planning ahead, and knowing exactly where your food came from. When you reserve a share from our farm, you are choosing more than beef. You are choosing transparency, quality, and a direct connection to the people raising your food.

We do not cut corners at any stage of the process, and we are proud to offer beef we would be proud to serve at our own family table.

From deposit to delivery, we are here to make the process simple, clear, and worth it.

Stay well-fed,
Leo Calligaro

Wondering about the freezer real estate? Here’s a breakdown:

  • 1/8 Beef: Roughly one shelf in an average stand-up freezer.
  • 1/4 Beef: About two shelves.
  • 1/2 Beef: Plan for four shelves.
  • For a whole beef, we suggest getting yourself a deep or chest freezer – it’s a meaty investment!
