Our brand name is in memory of my grandmother’s words, Eat “FOOD AS
NATURE INTENDS” and modify it as little as possible.
Sankofa
Sankofa is an ancient African symbol. It has 2 spirals, presumably representing the idea of going around but ending up at a point–the source, “FOOD AS NATURE INTENDS." In the Akan language of Ghana, that translates into "Go back and take" or “It is not wrong to go back for that which you have forgotten.”
Our Ancestors’ food wants to help you "Go back and take control of your health" and never forget that “It is not wrong to go back for that which we have forgotten.”
Eat “FOOD AS NATURE INTENDS” it’s actually the right thing to do if you want to live a healthy life.
Leaves and Animals
They represent nature. The circular shape represents that we have to take care of nature so she will take care of us. We need to be good stewards of our land and take care of it, so it can produce healthy animals and nutrient-dense meats for you to take in your Hands
the control of your health. Not to leave it in the hands of the doctors, the food, or the pharmaceutical industry.
