Bulk beef refers to purchasing a larger quantity of beef at once, typically an entire animal or a portion (share) of an animal. It is a cost-effective way to buy meat in larger quantities, and puts you in total control over the source and quality of the meat. You can also help your community by buying directly from Our Ancestors’ Foods, your trusted local farmer.

At Our Ancestors’ Foods, we honor the whole animal and your order will be comprised of approximately 30% steaks, 25% roasts & stews, and 45% ground beef. However, we are happy to work with you to customize your order to meet your specific needs.

The amount of freezer space you need will depend on the size of the share you purchase. As a general rule, you should have approximately 1 cubic foot of freezer space per 35-40 pounds of beef. You can refer to our “How much freezer space I need'' guide for more detailed information.

You can pay for your bulk beef order online through our secured check out on our website.. We require a 30% deposit when you place your order, and the remaining balance is due at the time of delivery.

We offer both pickup and delivery options for our bulk beef orders. We are happy to work with you to schedule a time to come to the farm at 6101 Highway 524 Cocoa, FL 3292, or find a convenient pickup location.

When properly stored in a freezer that maintains a temperature of 0°F or below, beef can last for up to a year. We recommend that you use the oldest beef in your freezer first to ensure that you're getting the freshest meat possible.
